Hello!

I’m Haley —

Photography has been a part of my identity for over 20 years. I was that girl in high school who carried around a point and shoot or a disposable camera in her pocket, taking pictures of everyone and everything I came in contact with. In college, I majored in Education with an emphasis on Art (photography and ceramics) at The Evergreen State College. In my interdisciplinary studies, my photography focus became around the body and it’s relation to the natural world, often in the form of boudoir.

When I became pregnant with my first son, I became obsessed with photographing my growing belly ALL. THE. TIME. I just knew it was not going to be forever, and my body would never again be what I knew it to be. I now am a mother to 2 boys who have grown used to their mom chasing them around with her camera, begging them to stay still when the light is just perfect on their sweet faces.

I live for photographing people, especially in their most tender forms. I love capturing the beauty in all the things most people see as mundane — the dirty laundry piling up when you’d rather be skin to skin with your new baby, the mess in the kitchen when you are letting your little ones practice baking, the muddy feet and the stained clothes. I want to be your families photographer in the way that I photograph my own family. Intimate, loving, raw, and true.

Let’s make some real images together
